OUR MISSION

The Mission of the Boulder High School Women’s Soccer Team  is to:

Achieve the highest possible level of soccer through teamwork, by being the best individuals we can be.

We achieve this by believing in and following values of Humility, Effort, Respect, Ownership and Accountability (HEROA), all day, every day. Each Panther works for the team first and foremost. By respecting ourselves, we learn to respect the opposition, the referees, our teachers, mentors, and coaches. We know that on any given day, anyone can be the most important Panther on the field and we accept it with pride and responsibility. We know we can count on anyone wearing our jersey because we’ve seen the effort; the work, sweat, and blood they’ve put in. We believe that this is our time to make a ripple in life… And we own this moment.

    COST OF PLAYING

Even though High School Athletics are not Pay-To-Play activities, there are some expenses that need to be covered. The following is a breakdown of what the season looks like in terms of cost per player:

    School Athletic Fee

    $185

This fee covers fields, stadium lights, referees, transportation to and from games, and all other administrative costs incurred by the School. This is a mandatory fee that all athletes need to cover. If you need financial aid to cover this fee, please contact Coach Real or Jenni Bernstein at the Athletics Department to setup your plan.

    Program Contribution

    $150

This fee covers the End of the Season Awards Ceremony’s food and drink, venue rental, a pair of white and a pair of purple socks, and away-games food, drinks and snacks. This is not a mandatory fee (except for the $16 for socks) and you can contribute what you can for the banquet. The away-games food can be substituted with your own.

    Pre-Tryout Camp

    $140

The focus of BHSWS Pre-Season Camp is to prepare for the Boulder High soccer season. Emphasis is on technical skills training, strength, speed, quickness, flexibility and small sided games. Players from all grades are strongly encouraged to participate and those attending will get a Camp T-Shirt. This is not mandatory but it is the program’s biggest fundraiser.

In addition to the amounts above every player is requested to purchase the BHSWS Spirit Gear. This is a changing amount since each player will be able to purchase the mandatory basic gear for $52 (two practice t-shirts and a sweatshirt) or buy anything from pants to jackets and more. This is also a great way to fund our program as we have an arrangement with the vendor to get kick backs depending on the amount of pieces we purchase. It is important to note that all playing uniforms (Home and Away jerseys and a pair of shorts) are free but must be returned at the end of the season in order to be able to graduate.

    • Game Photographers:
Shoot in game action pictures of team and players for postseason awards night.

We will need a Freshman or Sophomore Parent to represent the program, ask for grants, and support all the great things the Panther Club does for BHS Athletics.
    • Team Parent/Parents for Each Team.
Organize communication with other parents, ‘game day’ meals and snacks for players, assist with the End of the Season Awards Night
    • Volunteers to Organize all Details of Senior Night – Preferably Junior Parents.
    • End of the Season Awards Night.
We need a few parents to help organize the preseason dinner for all BHS soccer players, coaches, and families.
    • Social Media Manager
We need someone to upload pictures, copy and paste game summaries provided by coaches, player stories, newspaper articles, videos, and such.

Please email Coach Real if you are willing/able to perform one or more of these vital activities.
